"Fortunate" is not a good word. It takes away personal responsibility. No matter what it is, there is always a choice of some kind that led up to the situation and another for how to deal with it. I lost 30# and it's still gone after 9 months. Also, I've learned how to hold my temper. That alone saves a lot of embarrassment and cuts down on stress and the dire health results that come from stress. Exercise can be a great stress reliever. I hurt all over. wow. most of them, by now. My latest challenge is to continue losing weight through diet, but without exercise. Circumstances prevent me from using my legs.
